Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Perkmap (maintained by the Fidelock team). By accessing the site or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Perkmap.

1. Who we are

  • Perkmap is operated by the Fidelock team. Contact: legal@perkmap.com.
  • We provide informational content about credit cards, loyalty programs, hotel perks, and related travel topics. Perkmap does not issue financial products and does not provide individualized financial, legal, or tax advice.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

  • You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and, where applicable, at least 18 years old.
  • You will use Perkmap only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You will not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content without express written permission.
  • You will not interfere with or degrade the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse reporting/feedback tools.
  • You will not use Perkmap to provide competing services or to train commercial AI models without written consent.

3. Accounts and security

  • If accounts are provided, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at security@perkmap.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for suspected abuse, security risks, or violation of these Terms.

4. Content and license to you

  • All site content, including text, data, graphics, logos, compilations, and software, is owned by Perkmap or its licensors and protected by applicable IP laws.
  • We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the site for personal, non-commercial research.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from Perkmap content without prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by law (e.g., fair use).

5. User submissions and feedback

  • If you submit data points, reviews, feedback, or suggestions, you grant Perkmap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and create derivative works from that material to operate and improve the service.
  • You represent that your submissions do not infringe others’ rights and do not contain unlawful, defamatory, or misleading material.
  • We may, but are not obligated to, moderate, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion.

6. No financial, legal, or tax advice

  • Perkmap content is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
  • You should verify all terms with the issuer or provider before applying, booking, or relying on any benefit. Benefits change frequently; availability, eligibility, and value can vary by region, credit profile, status, or time.

7. Accuracy and updates

  • We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content. Data points may be delayed, partial, or anecdotal.
  • Card, airline, and hotel benefits, fees, and terms may change without notice. You are responsible for confirming current terms with the issuer or provider.
  • We may update, suspend, or remove content or features at any time.

8. Third-party links and offers

  • Perkmap may contain links to third-party sites, offers, or tools. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
  • Affiliate or referral links may appear; we aim to disclose them clearly. Using such links may result in compensation to Perkmap.

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Reverse engineering, automated scraping, bulk extraction, or framing of the site.
  • Posting or transmitting malicious code, or interfering with security or access controls.
  • Impersonating others, misrepresenting affiliation, or submitting fraudulent data points.
  • Using Perkmap to violate laws, infringe IP, or harass, abuse, or defame others.

10. Intellectual property notices

  • All trademarks, service marks, and logos on Perkmap belong to their respective owners. Use does not imply endorsement.
  • You may not remove, obscure, or alter copyright or trademark notices.

11. Disclaimers

  • THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
  • WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of liability

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERKMAP AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
  • SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY; IN SUCH CASES, THOSE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perkmap, the Fidelock team, and their affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access immediately for suspected misuse, security risks, or legal compliance needs.
  • You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions survive termination (e.g., IP rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity).

15. Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law or our Services. The “Last updated” date will be revised, and material changes may be highlighted.
  • Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Perkmap is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Where permitted, disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiations; if unresolved, you agree to submit to the competent courts of that jurisdiction. If mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction, they remain unaffected.

17. Entire agreement and severability

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Perkmap regarding the Services, superseding prior understandings.
  • If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
